PHILIP A. GARBUTT
Phil attended the University of Toronto, receiving his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in 1982 (Economics and Political Science). He received his Bachelor of Laws degree in 1985. He received his CRM designation after studies at the University of Toronto. Phil previously enjoyed a lengthy and successful career as a trial lawyer and was the Senior and Managing Partner in the law firm Giffen LLP from 1987 until 2022. He has been a Mediator and Arbitrator since 1998. He is a member or former member of the Advocates Society, the ADR Institute of Ontario, the Waterloo Law Association, the Canadian Bar Association, The Law Society of Upper Canada and the American Association for Justice (formerly ATLA).
